| For those of you who have never
been to our
Energy Management Center (K0HSU/EOC) here are some directions: From Terwilliger heading North, you'll want to turn Left (extremely HARD 180 degree hairpin Left) onto S.W. Homestead Dr. It is the street just before the road that leads up to the V.A. Hospital. Follow that all the way up and around through two 90 degree Right turns. The road will then sweep around to the Left, and then back around to the Right. After this point, where the road becomes straight again, there is an entrance to a parking lot on the Left. Go in there; park all the way up next to the steaming building with all the big windows and lots of antennas on the roof. If you manage to find your way to where we usually have our meetings (Physical Plant), just continue past there and head toward the V.A. This street winds around to the Left (I just love the civil design that went into this area). You'll see the V.A. down ahead of you, go all the way down to that building and then follow the road around to the Right before entering their driveway. This will bring you all the way around (again) and you'll see a big parking lot ahead and to the Left with a steaming building with big windows and lots of antennas on the roof. Another hint: Our steaming building has big windows and lots of antennas on the roof... and a big 810 on the North hand side, and a faded orange windsock for the helipad in the grass next to it, and ... well, you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. :) HEARTNET FREQUENCY PLANS HEARTNET MEETS EVERY THURSDAY EVENING AT 7PM Primary frequency: 145.230 Mhz (-) @ 100.0 Hz - K7LJ Located on the KGON tower.
