Good evening, this is (your call sign), net control for this session of the Washington County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Net. This is a directed net. Is there any emergency traffic at this time?
(PAUSE)

Regular sessions of this net meet Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. local time with the exception of meeting nights, which are the third Tuesday of each month. We thank Wes Allen, K7WWG, who has approved our use of the 146.90 MHz repeater for this net.
(PAUSE)

These regular sessions are to provide A.R.E.S. members training in the areas of net procedures, traffic handling and A.R.E.S. drills. Also to provide a brief time for announcements, comments, and questions by and for A.R.E.S members and interested visitors to the net.
(PAUSE)

Emergency sessions of this net may be convened at the discretion of the Washington County Emergency Coordinator, the District, E.C., or the ARRL Oregon Section E.C.
(PAUSE)
